Ridgewood Alumni

Ridgewood School is proud of its alumni and the impact they’ve made in various fields. Since our first graduating class in 1924, Ridgewood has graduated 871 individuals who have pursued successful careers in medicine, science, law, writing, sports, manufacturing, religion, education, finance, and art. We share some of their inspiring stories in our “Alumni Spotlights” section of our newsletter The Ridgewood Times, and annually recognize a few of them as Distinguished Alumni. We also confer the status of Honorary Alumni on some exceptional people who are not graduates, but who in their support of Ridgewood School model the values and behaviors we work to instill in Ridgewood students.

For more than a century, Ridgewood has provided an outstanding education for families who
prioritize quality education. Many families have enrolled multiple generations of their children
at Ridgewood, recognizing that there has never been a better choice for private education in
the region. Ridgewood’s ISACS accreditation testifies to its high standards. It is this excellence
that has drawn new families to Ridgewood and led to the development of our diverse student
body and alumni community.

If you are a graduate or former student who has lost touch with Ridgewood, we invite you to
rejoin your fellow classmates, faculty, and staff through our Alumni Relations Office. We’ll keep
you updated on school news through our newsletter, social media posts, and alumni awards
program. We invite you to attend school events, including our annual alumni dinner where we
celebrate Ridgewood and its alumni. If you have time to help as one of our volunteers, please
let us know.

Ridgewood Alumni, congratulations on your personal achievements and the positive impact
you’ve made in your communities. We’re grateful that you embody Ridgewood’s values in your
daily lives and that you continue the rich Ridgewood legacy begun by our school’s founders.

“I have to say in all honesty that Ridgewood has given our children everything we wanted and more. It is a safe and loving environment that has helped our children blossom and develop beautifully. The teachers and staff of Ridgewood School have played a very important role in our children’s lives, and we truly appreciate all of them.”
