What is ISACS?

ISACS is an acronym for the Independent School Association of the Central States. ISACS is an organization that promotes networking among its 240 member schools in thirteen states, offers professional development opportunities, and provides external validation of school quality. Its accreditation assures that a school is operating at the highest level possible. Ridgewood School is one of only 33 independent elementary and middle schools in Ohio to have earned ISACS membership.

What is accreditation and why is it important?

Accreditation ensures that Ridgewood meets high educational standards, providing students with the best possible learning experience.  We are accredited through the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) over the course of a seven-year cycle. This process begins with your feedback and leads to meaningful school improvements.

The teachers and staff of Ridgewood School have played a very important role in our children’s lives, and we truly appreciate all of them.”
