We ended the year with our annual tradition of graduation and passing of the classes! The end-of-year Chess Tournament brought together members of both our Beginner and Advanced Chess Clubs for an exciting afternoon of strategy, focus, and friendly competition! The 4th through 8th graders all competed in the Ohio Mathematics League competition at Ridgewood! The contest is sponsored by the Ohio Mathematics League and is an annual competition that encourages strength in mathematics including creative problem solving and numerical reasoning. Congratulations to all the students who placed!

What an unforgettable experience for our 8th graders as they explored the history, government, and culture of our nation's capital! Students kicked off the trip by exploring the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum, National Museum of Natural History, and National Museum of American History. Congratulations to Matthew Dean who won this year's Ridgewood Geography Bee! The students answered questions on a variety of topics including capitals, landmarks, and other physical features.

Ridgewood inducted its 4th class of the National Junior Honor Society! These students were selected for membership based on their commitment to service, leadership, citizenship, scholarship, and character. We can’t wait to see how they will continue to impact our school community!
