We had some amazing results from the Power of the Pen Regional Competition! 8th grader Abby Groth earning two “Best of Rounds awards, and two ”Platinum Pen Awards” from her district stories. 8th grader Usayd Ashraf earned 3rd place overall. 7th grader Avery Radlowski earned 4th place overall. Our 7th grade team earned 3 rd place overall. Our 7th and 8th grade team were ranked 2nd out of 29 schools. And to top it all off our very own ELA teacher and POP coach Paul Sauter won the Turner Foundation’s Outstanding Teacher Award!! Bravo to our teams and their talented coaches, Paul Sauter and Nora Hickey!
