On Saturday May 13, Alex, Annia, Abby, Emerson, and Fadhila presented their Superior rated projects at the State Science Day Celebration of Science Showcase Event. They competed for additional scholarships/prizes. Alex won 2 additional awards, Abby won 2 additional awards, Emerson won 2 additional awards, and Annia won 3 additional awards. With their hard work and the superb guidance and support of their science teacher Rachel McLaughlin, our school earned the Harold C. Shaw Outstanding School Award. Their golden trophy will find its home next to the 2 past Harold C. Shaw Awards earned by Ridgewood students past! We are so proud of our young students and their achievements. This is the highest award presented to schools from the Ohio Academy of Science!
